Once these settings have been adjusted, you should be able to feed one tag at a time when the print head is closed and the feed button is pressed on the printer. Typically, this sensor will need to be placed so that it will pass under the part of the tag with the most surface area (for the Gap sensor), or the part of the tag with the black mark (for the Mark sensor). These settings can be adjusted in the Settings -> Media Type settings menu. If your tags have both a gap and a mark, either setting can be used. If your tags are separated by a either a gap or notch in the print media, set the printer settings to use the "Gap Sensor" settings. If your tags have a black mark or line on the underside of the print media, you will need to change the printer settings to use the "Mark Sensor". To do this, you will need to determine if your tags require the "Mark Sensor", or the "Gap Sensor". First, verify that the printer is "seeing" the tags correctly. If you are having trouble printing your tags, there are a few steps you can take to try and resolve any errors you may be seeing.
